Big Brother Day One
Saturday, December 2nd, 2006hmm, it was a rather chaotic start. So let’s just do a random stream of consciousness bullet point list…
- As in RL (real lifeā¢), they couldn’t spell my name right.
- I had originally thought it begins at 4 pm. It actually began at 4 am, resulting in me getting very little sleep last night. I’m pretty tired right now.
- There were 71 people at the opening ceremony. This is some kind of record. Up to now, the most I’ve seen in one sim without a crash is around 40-50.
- 12 guys, 3 women. At least, that’s what the avatars show. I’m sure more than one female avatar has a male player. And I’m not sure how to count Goreans, and there’s a couple of part-time furries in the mix, as well as an elf. All in all, a diverse groups.
- Someone was obviously a sore loser at not getting picked, and tried to crash the sim and then proceeded to use cage guns on all the participants.
- We weren’t given any special instructions on which rooms are ours, so it fell more or less randomly. There are some good builders among us.
- Our timers to record how long we are online broke, so effectively we all get a bye (ooh, spot the sports reference there) on the first day.
